The Gloucester Works City Commitment is a voluntary, public commitment by your company, as an employer within Gloucester City, to work with Gloucester Works to shape a better future for our City by: • Working with you to recruit locally, to help your business grow and support Gloucester's regeneration • Advertise your recruitment opportunities through the Gloucester Works website and at our network of citywide Jobs Hub • Encouraging and supporting all your employees to up-skill themselves both to assist your businesses' productivity and to improve their employability and futures • Work to ensure your workforce meets a minimum educational standard of Level 2 qualifications • Build the reputation of Gloucester as a place to live and work through our employment practices • Becoming a stakeholder in the City of Gloucester The City Commitment provides the opportunity for you to demonstrate publicly to your staff and your stakeholders how important you think your employees, Gloucester City and its future is both for them personally and for the success of the business.
